Getting to Frederick
All of the directions below start from Rt-15 in Frederick. The following directions are to Frederick and Rt-15 from other points.
Coming from the South.
- Take Interstate 95 North towards Washington DC.
- Take the DC Beltway 495 towards Tysons Corner/Rockville.
- Follow the 495 Beltway to 270 North to Rockville/Frederick.
- When you get to Frederick 270 North turns into 15 North.
Coming from the North - Interstate 95
- Take Interstate 95 south to Baltimore Beltway 695.
- Take 695 towards Towson.
- Follow the 695 Beltway to Interstate 70 West to Frederick.
- Follow 70 West to Route 15.
Coming from the Pennsylvania Turnpike - 76 East or West
- Coming either way on the Turnpike, take the Gettysburg exit for Route 15 South.
- Follow Route 15 South to Frederick.
Coming from the West - Interstate 70
- Take Interstate 70 East toward Frederick.
- Take Exit 48 off 70 East for Route 40 East.
- Follow 40 East to Route 15.
Coming from the East - Interstate 70
- Take Interstate 70 West toward Frederick.
- Follow 70 West to Route 15 in Frederick.
Directions to the Pitch at Baker Park

- From Rt-15 take the Rosemont Avenue exit.
- If coming from the South, go straight through the light off the ramp onto West 2nd Street. You'll see the beginning of the park on your right.
If coming from the North, go right off the ramp (back under Rt-15) and take the first right onto West 2nd Street. You'll see the beginning of the park on your right.
- Proceed straight for about 1 mile.
- The rugby pitch is in the park on your right, next to the bell tower and amphitheater. NOTE: If you've reached Bentz Street, you've just passed the pitch.
Directions to the Pitch at Mount Saint Mary's University
16300 Old Emmitsburg Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727
- Take Rt-15 North from Frederick to Emmitsburg, MD.
- Turn left into the main campus of Mount Saint Mary’s.
- The pitch is on your immediate right.
- Please park in the parking lot (not on the grass).
Directions to the Pitch at the Warner Farm
20500 Martinsburg Road, Dickerson, MD
- From Frederick, take Rt-15/270 South to Rt-85/Buckeystown Pike South (10 miles).
- Rt-85 south will become Rt-28 south (5 miles).
- Enter Montgomery County and pass through the small town of Dickerson.
- About a mile past the town Rt-28 makes a 90-degree left turn (flashing orange light).
- Keep straight to turn onto Martinsburg Road.
- The farm is about 3 miles up on the right.
- The road becomes a one lane concrete road - follow signs for warm water fishing.
- Pass Dickerson Conservation Park on the right go up the hill and the farm is on the right.
If coming from Leesburg, VA:
- From Leesburg, take Rt-15 North to Rt-655/Whites Ferry Road (1.3 miles).
- Turn right onto Whites Ferry Road and follow to the ferry (1.2 miles).
- Turn left off the ferry to stay on Whites Ferry Road (2.7 miles).
- Take your first left onto Martinsburg Road and follow to farm on your left (2.4 miles)
- There will be some touch flags and a few cars on the road outside the farm.
- If you pass Dickerson Conservation Park on your left you have gone too far so just turn around.
- The pitch is behind the house; turn at the gate with the rugby ball on the post, follow the track beside a small barn/shed and park on the field.
Directions to the Pitch at Doub’s Meadow Park
99 Wolfsville Road, Myersville, MD
- From Frederick take I-70 west towards Hagerstown.
- Take exit 42 north (Myersville/State Parks).
- Turn right at the ramp (McDonalds and a gas station).
- Drive for about 1 mile then bear right to stay of Rt-17 (Wolfsville Road).
- Doub’s Meadow Park is on the right – just before Rt-40.
Directions to the Practice Field at 7th Street

- From Rt-15 take the 7th Street exit.
- If coming from the South, the field is straight across from the bottom of the ramp.
- If coming from the North, take a left at the bottom of the ramp and the field is 100 yards down the road on your right.
Directions to Hill Street Park, Frederick

- Take Rt-15 to Rt-40 west (Golden Mile)
- Go for about 1.5 miles and turn left onto McCain Drive
- Turn left onto Orchard Way
- At the T-junction with Hill Street turn right
- Go to the top of the hill to enter the park
Directions to Guido's SpeakEasy, Frederick Rugby's Pub

- From Rt-15 take the Seventh Street exit.
- Turn left on 7th Street at the bottom of the ramp.
- Proceed straight on 7th Street for about .5 miles to Bentz St.
- Turn right on Bentz Street.
- Go one block and turn left on 6th Street.
- Guido's is at the corner of Market Street and 6th Street (543 N. Market St.).
Directions to Krug's
See Marker #5 on the map below.
- From Rt-15 take the Seventh Street exit.
- Turn left on 7th Street at the bottom of the ramp.
- Proceed straight on 7th Street for about 1.25 miles until it dead-ends at East St.
- Turn left on East Street.
- Krugs is about 1/4 mile ahead on the right (next to the Village Lanes bowling alley).
