Saturday September 16th: AWAY traveling to Norfolk, Virginia
Venue: Lafayette Park, Norfolk, VA (see directions below)
A-side kick-off: 1:00pm
B-side kick-off: 2:30pm
Please be at the pitch BEFORE 11:30am
Carpool: If you want to ride down Saturday morning please be at 7th Street/Max Keene Park BEFORE 7:00am. I would imagine that some players will drive down on Friday night and stay down there - that information will be distributed when it is squared away.
Party: To follow in Norfolk.

Directions to Norfolk (Lafayette Park,W 38th St & Granby St, Norfolk, VA)
- Take I-270 south to I-495 south (towards Virginia) (50 miles)
- Turn onto I-95 south (towards Richmond) (86 miles)
- At Richmond, take the I-295 south exit (84A), on the left (towards Rocky Mt. NC) (15 miles)
- Take the I-64 east exit (28A) into Norfolk (76 miles)
- Go to exit 276 for Granby Street/I-564/Terminal Blvd (Third exit AFTER the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel). On the exit, bear to the left to get on to Granby Street.
- Stay on Granby Street for a few miles. You will pass the Wards Corner Shopping Center, Granby High School, and DePaul Hospital. Cross the Granby Street Bridge. Bear to the left to stay on Granby Street.
- After the bridge, go to the 2nd light and turn left. This is 38th and Granby Street.
- Lafayette Park is on your right, park beside the tennis courts.
- Take Rt-15 to 7th Street
- If you are coming north the parking area and field are directly opposite the exit ramp. Turn left then turn right into the parking area
- If you are coming south, turn left and go under Rt-15. The parking area and field are on your right just after Rt-15. Turn right into the parking area
Total distance 250 miles, estimated travel time 4.5 hours.
We will play two matches, A-side kick-off 1:00pm, B-side kick-off 2:30pm.
