Norfolk Storm

Frederick travelled to Norfolk Storm for the 1st game of the season slighly light on numbers. We met up with players from Longwood College and Norfolk also lent us a few. Considering we were from 3 different teams and only had a few minutes to work out who was playing where, we played great. Norfolk took advantage of our rustiness and off loaded in the tackle a lot, but some brilliant cover tackling, and a few unfortunate knock-ons as they were about to score kept the score respectable. The last few minutes saw us close to their line, we tried to run in a penalty from 5m out, got held up but managed to recycle the ball for Amy C to cross for her first try in Frederick colors. Final score was 24-5.
